Bladder CARE™ is a completely non-invasive qPCR test for bladder cancer detection, using urine samples. The test measures the methylation level of three urothelial cancer-specific DNA biomarkers and two internal controls in a single qPCR reaction.

Patients with a BCI lower than 2.5 are negative for the presence of bladder cancer, while patients with a BCI higher than 2.5 require additional control visits to confirm whether the cancer is present or not.
The Bladder CARE™ test collection kit includes a urine preservation reagent (Urine Conditioning Buffer) which effectively preserves urine DNA for optimal test performance.
